2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: The Full-Size Truck Reimagined

Power and Performance
Four powertrains make up the new lineup. Two all-new naturally aspirated V8s, a next-generation 5.7-liter and a new 6.6-liter are the highlights of the new generation of Chevy Silverado 1500 trucks. Chevrolet says the 6.6-liter becomes the class's most powerful naturally aspirated V8; official output, towing, and payload numbers remain to be announced. You’ll also get an upgraded 2.7-liter TurboMax™, joined by the segment-exclusive 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel.
Technology Features
The redesigned cabin leads with a standard 16.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.2-inch digital Driver Information Center. High Country and ZR2 models expand the display area with an 11.5-inch front passenger screen, a Head-Up Display, and a Rear Camera Mirror. You can also add dual wireless charging, a Multi-Flex center console, and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance with trailering capability to the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Safety technology took one of the bigger jumps for this new Chevrolet truck. Standard equipment now includes Intersection:

Three trims arrive factory-lifted for off-road driving. Custom Trail Boss and Trail Boss feature a 2-inch lift and 34-inch mud-terrain tires. ZR2 further increases capability with a 2-inch lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, locking front and rear differentials, Multimatic DSSV dampers, and a specialized off-road hood, and the available ZR2 Bison Edition adds AEV bumpers, rocker protection, 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels, and skid plates protecting the underbody, transfer case, and fuel tank.
