Welcome to Rick Weaver Edinboro – We’re Glad You’re Here
The Rick Weaver auto history begins where Wes Plumpton built a Buick dealership in the early 1970's. Rick Weaver, originally from Michigan, saw the potential of Erie and moved to purchase and operate the Buick dealership at the corner of 12th and Liberty in 1982 and added GMC brand in 1987, and Pontiac brand in 1992. The dealership celebrates being a GM franchise dealership in the heart or Erie, PA for over 45 years. Rick Weaver GMC dealership used car building is located on the Northwest corner of 12th and Liberty Street. The Rick Weaver Collision Center is located 4 blocks west on 12th St. between Cranberry St. and Raspberry Street. In 2025, the Weaver Family purchased Walker Brothers Chevrolet of Edinboro to be renamed Rick Weaver Chevrolet, located at 700 Erie St. Edinboro. The growth and expansion to Edinboro have been rewarding and the Weaver Team is excited to become a reliable service provider and partner within the Edinboro and surrounding community. The dealership is still family owned and operated and proud to be a thriving employer to many successful families in Erie County.
